This Texas snake looks like it’s wearing sunglasses and a mustache

A few weeks ago, we brought you the most Texas photo ever: Matthew McConaughey wearing a Longhorns shirt backstage at a Willie Nelson concert with an armadillo in his lap. We see that photo and raise you this photo of a chill-as-hell Texas snake with a mustache and sunglasses.

Texas Parks and Wildlife tweeted this photo of a Western rat snake with "sunglasses" and a "mustache" on Oct. 19, 2016.

Last week, the official Twitter account for Texas State Parks shared photos of a Western rat snake, also known as a Texas rat snake, giving the camera his best blue steel.

Don’t worry, these snakes are nonvenomous, so photographer Karlie Gray wasn’t in danger of getting bit when she snapped these pics. What she was in danger of, however, was looking too deeply into the eyes of the chillest snake to ever roam these Texas lands and therefore becoming too chill herself.
