Gold medal Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez is the favorite to win the 23rd season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Sports Betting Dime, a website where two sports bettors share their experiences and give sports picks “for fun,” released their odds for multiple scenarios on the newest season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

“Athletes tend to do well on DWTS…Hernandez’ gymnast forerunner, Shawn Johnson, won it all in season 8,” Sports Betting Dime explains. “Hernandez’ odds are boosted by being paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, who took Ginger Zee to a third-place finish last season.”

The site gave Hernandez 9-2 odds for victory, but fellow Olympian Ryan Lochte is fourth-least-likely to win, with 18-1 odds. Former Gov. Rick Perry has the worst odds to win (50-1).

Perry has the best odds to be eliminated first, however (6-1).

Sports Betting Dime also gave the best odds to Lochte showing up with gold hair for the season premiere (25-1), over brown (1-2) and red, white and blue (9-1).

The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” starts Sept. 12.
