Grilled cheese has it’s own holiday, as is only proper.

If you want to eat a grilled cheese sandwich 90 percent of the time, revel in your love knowing that with the passion for grilled cheese comes the passion for other things as well. Grilled cheese lovers have more sex, and they are also more generous and adventurous, says dating site Skout.

And today is almost too easy to celebrate; just grab your favorite bread and cheese, slather some butter on that bread and toss that beautiful sandwich onto a frying pan.

If that sounds like too much work (but let’s be real, grilled cheese is worth washing more dishes) you can always wait until April 24, when Antonelli’s Cheese House will have a grilled cheese tasting, along with how to make your perfect grilled cheese:

“Join us for our “Grilled Cheese” class as we taste 4 cheeses in their pure form and as a bite in a delectable grilled cheese sandwich. We will dive into why certain cheeses reach that stage of ooegy gooey perfection, how to pick the right cheese and pairing for a sandwich, and share worldwide recipes featuring melted cheese.”

Read more about the grilled cheese class and how to purchase tickets here.

Or, you know, start celebrating ASAP at home. Happy National Grilled Cheese Day, everyone!
