1. Jamie Foxx rescues man from burning vehicle.

Jamie Foxx wasn’t acting when he pulled a man from a burning vehicle Tuesday minutes before it was consumed by fire, but it was still a noteworthy performance. The Oscar winner was modest when he spoke of the incident saying “I just look at it like, you know, you just had to do something. And it all just worked out.” From his Southern California home, Foxx heard Brett Kyle’s pickup crash after it went off the road and rolled over several times into a ditch. He ran to the scene, broke the truck’s window and cut the man out of his seatbelt. Kyle suffered a punctured lung and broken bones but is expected to survive.

2. Coloring craze takes Austin.

“I’m addicted,” says 48-year-old Cam Ray. According to an army of adults armed with crayons, she’s not the only one. A new trend sweeping both Austin and the country is proving coloring isn’t just for kids. Many say the craze was sparked by Johanna Basford’s 2013 coloring book “Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt,” and hasn’t slowed since. Coloring meetups have become a common thing, with large groups of enthusiasts meeting regularly and forming color clubs. Recently Gourdough’s Public House drew a large crowd for one such event. 3. Who will perform at next month’s Grammys?

Hello. It’s her. Adele will join acts like Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town and the Weeknd in performing for next months Grammy Awards on Feb. 15. Lamar tops this year’s list of nominees with 11 nominations including both album and song of the year. Adele’s hit album “25,” which has so far sold nearly 8 million copies since its release in November, will be a contender in next year’s awards because of its late release. The singer has already won 10 Grammys. The 58th annual ceremony will be hosted by LL Cool J, and will feature a special tribute to Lionel Richie.

4. Round Rock Donuts and Hopdoddy’s team up for donut-burger of your dreams.

An Austin favorite and a Round Rock favorite are joining forces to create a donut-burger we can really get behind, but also hopefully get in our mouths. Hopdoddy recently opened its first Round Rock location and reached out to the good donuts of Round Rock Donuts to create a little something special for the occasion. This Friday and Saturday only the restaurant will be offering the Code 7 burger: A beef patty, fried egg and bacon between two Round Rock Donuts.

5. Roberta’s pop-up Bufalina shop menu released.

Bufalina, one of Austin’s best pizza spots, will get a New York take when famed Roberta’s takes over its kitchen next week — and now the menu’s out. What can you expect when New York’s beloved Roberta’s takes the reigns Jan. 25-28? A handful of non-pizza items like a carbonara and stracciatella, and a variety of pie options, including the “White Guy” and “Cheesus Christ.”
