1. Video for Drake’s “Hotline Bling” premieres.

For everyone who hides their inability by doing only “funny” dance moves, and then also for everyone who does these moves sincerely — there is hope. Drake’s video for his chart-topping “Hotline Bling” premiered yesterday and, in addition to a large white staircase and various pink lights, it featured a lot of Drake dancing in a way that will probably remind you of your dad. If everybody knows and you feel left out, you can watch the video here.

2. Schedule for 2015 Fun Fun Fun Fest released.

Get out your highlighters fest-goers, the 2015 Fun Fun Fun Fest schedule has been released! You have a few weeks to decide who you’re going to seen and when before the Nov. 6-8 festival at Auditorium Shores. Don’t forget to also take a look at the FFF Nites schedule, which details the locations of the free club shows available to ticket holders.

3. Zooey Deschanel reveals baby name.

Actress and Austin resident Zooey Deschanel has revealed the name of her three-month-old baby girl and it’s just as nose-crinkling as you’d expect: Elsie Otter Pechenik. When asked about the unique choice Deschanel didn’t allude to any deep personal significance: “Well, we just really like the name Elsie, and then we both love otters,” she told NBC “Today.”

4. New canned beer festival comes to Austin in December.

No glass allowed. On Dec. 5 the Canned Festival will welcome 40 breweries and more than a hundred canned beers to the Austin Studios lot. The festival which first premiered in Denton in 2013, will include live music. General admission tickets are $35 and VIP are $85.

5. Netflix working on “Gilmore Girls” revival.

The residents of fictional “Stars Hollow” are being called back into their whimsy existence by Netflix. Eight years since its finale Netflix is reportedly working on a four-episode revival of the series “Gilmore Girls.” Netflix has yet to comment on the reports.
