1. Matthew McConaughey undergoes physical transformation for new movie.

Looks like all those Lone Stars finally caught up to ol’ Rust Cole. Pictures of Matthew McConaughey sporting a new bald head and beer gut have shocked fans who are used to his usual fit physique and full head of hair. The actor has undergone the physical transformation in preparation of his upcoming film, “Gold” due for release in 2016. In the movie McConaughey plays struggling businessman Kenny Wells who takes to the Indonesian jungle in search of gold.

 

2. Will Smith returns to music with new song alongside Colombian dance group.

It’s been 10 years since actor and sometimes-rapper Will Smith has released new music, but it feels like we’ve been waiting to say “Will Smith raps in Spanish,” for so much longer than that. You can listen to Smith’s collaboration with Grammy-nominated Latin group Bomba Estéreo, here. “I went into the studio with Kanye. I’m thinking about it. I’m exploring,” Smith said in February of his musical career.

3. Walt Disney Parks to try surge pricing model.

As if you needed another reason to avoid a theme park on a Saturday, Walt Disney Co. has announced it will consider “demand-based pricing,” or cheaper ticket prices and additional benefits for slower park days, The Wall Street Journal reported. Walt Disney Parks, which has reported record attendance over the past three years, aims to spread out attendance throughout the year. As ticket prices continue to raise in general, Disney spokesmen said keeping the park available to middle-class families is very important.

4. Nike Chairman Phil Knight’s memoir and story of how Nike began scheduled for release.

Finally ready to tell the tale, Nike Chairman and Co-founder Phil Knight has announced he will release a memoir detailing the company’s formation in Spring 2016. Set to step down as chairman next year, Knight is known for being especially private about the past. He agreed to the book deal with Simon & Schuster Inc. after realizing, “If I didn’t do it now, it wasn’t going to be done at all.”
