Miley Cyrus to host MTV Video Music Awards, full list of nominees released

MTV announced the nominees for the 2015 Video Music Awards on Tuesday morning. Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Texas native Beyoncé are all leading the pack in nominations.

Many of the VMA winners are determined by the fans, and voting for who will take home the most Moonmen this year is open now on MTV’s website. The awards show will broadcast live on MTV on Sunday, Aug. 30.

Miley Cyrus, who won the Moonman for Video of the Year at the 2014 awards, will be hosting the show this year. She announced the news through her social media accounts with a space-age photo message.
